Program description
Sideline Alert sends SMS weather-ops alerts to organization members who opt in. Messages include field condition verdicts (PLAY / CAUTION / NO-GO), lightning hold notifications, and 30-minute all-clear confirmations for sessions you are assigned to. These are safety-support messages — they supplement, and do not replace, on-site human judgment.
How to opt in
You opt in to SMS by providing your mobile number in your account settings and enabling the SMS channel. By doing so, you consent to receive text messages from Sideline Alert at the number provided. Consent is not a condition of purchasing the Service.
How to opt out
Reply STOP to any Sideline Alert text message at any time to unsubscribe. You will receive a confirmation message and no further SMS will be sent to that number. You may also disable SMS in your account settings.
To re-subscribe after opting out, re-enable SMS in your account settings or text START to our number.

Message frequency
Message frequency varies by weather activity and your session schedule. On a day with no sessions or stable weather, you may receive no messages. During an active session with changing conditions or lightning activity, you may receive up to 5 messages.
Costs
Sideline Alert does not charge for SMS messages beyond your subscription fee. However, your mobile carrier's standard message and data rates apply. Contact your carrier for details.
Supported carriers
Sideline Alert SMS is compatible with all major US carriers. Carrier support is not guaranteed for all carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy
Your mobile number is used solely for delivering Sideline Alert weather-ops alerts. We do not sell or share your number with third parties for their marketing purposes. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Changes
We may update these SMS Terms. Material changes will be communicated via SMS or email before they take effect.
